Prep
Before the date of the property shoot, it is advisable to have the property cleaned and tidied. Additional ‘props’ added, such as: Flowers, Champagne and glasses, table laid for Breakfast (a Breakfast tray arranged for the bedroom is a good idea), cushions ‘pumped’ and prepped, fruit bowl for table etc and any other prop ideas you may have. I can help advise and arrange these if needed.
Any additional photos of the property sent to me beforehand would be helpful - just simple mobile phone shots of each room would suffice - just to give me an a quick overview of the property . . .
Shoot
On the day of the shoot I will arrive on time and do a quick viewing of the property and give any help and advice about setting up if required.
Depending on the weather, I usually shoot the outside of the property first then proceed to shoot the downstairs rooms before making my way to the upstairs rooms, taking various shots in each room (usually around four). Once these are completed I will change lenses and shoot what I call ‘detail’ shots, highlighting any special features of the property, from ornate fireplaces, interesting ornaments, quirky structural designs, intriguing furniture to Christmas decorations - these things can really highlight the room and be real ‘eye catchers’ when advertising!
I can also take a portrait photo of you inside or outside your property if you require. You can then use it in your advertising to give it a personal touch.
Once the shots are completed, I will let you know of a turn around time to receive the final images (no later than 7 working days) . . .
Post
Back at my studio I will edit the photos, adjusting for colour, composition and crop etc. Once final checks are completed, I will then package together ready to file share with you via WeTransfer (a file delivery service online).
When you receive the WeTransfer confirmation to download, they are then ready for you to use to advertise your property as you wish!
